ABOUT US Vote Yourself was founded by Renee Stern, a 17-year-old high school senior fed up with people telling her they weren't going to vote. Vote Yourself is a non-profit, non-partisan resource to help people get motivated to go to the polls. Vote for who you find to be a good leader. Vote Libertarian, vote Democrat, vote Republican, vote Green... vote Yourself. Just get out there, voice your opinion and vote! On June 29, Renee mentioned the idea of Vote Yourself to her fellow classmate and political junkie, Rina Krevat. A week later, the site was created. Although neither of them is of eligible voting age, they want to encourage as many people as they possibly can to take part in the 2008 election. Vote Yourself post-cards were submitted to different places for distribution, including Saddle Creek Records (Omaha, NE) and Kill Rock Stars (Olympia, WA). An advertisement for the campaign was also feataured in the Kill Rock Stars' monthly newsletter.
